Senior Analyst

Yanru joined Oberweis Asset Management, Inc. in November 2006 as a founding member of the International Opportunities team. After a leave of absence from 2009 to 2010, she worked in our Hong Kong office, where she covered Asian equities and built a strong network of industry, management, and broker contacts. She rejoined the International team in September 2012. Prior to Oberweis, Yanru was a Senior Associate at Deloitte, where she advised corporate clients on M&A transactions, valuations, and corporate strategic planning. Her projects included advisory work in Japan and Taiwan. Yanru earned her MBA from the University of Maryland and a master’s in Commerce with a BA in Business Administration from Takushoku University in Tokyo, Japan. She is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Yanru is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
