David joined Oberweis Asset Management in September 2017 and is the intellectual founder and a Strategic Advisor for the Small-Cap Value strategy. David earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, his MM from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and his BS from Pennsylvania State University. He has co-authored several papers with well-known academics including Josef Lakonishok, Inmoo Lee, and Theo Vermaelen, in outlets including Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Journal of Financial Economics.
